Companies have been trying to keep up their brand reputation up for years. I wanted to find out why so many people worldwide are putting their trust in a product by just hearing the name brand name. The reason why I choose to conduct this study is because I wanted to find out what attract consumers to certain branded products for consumer behaviour. The main question I want to find out is why the Nike brand is so successful in brand marketing? This is something that Nike as a billion dollar company have always succeeded to get right. The Nike brand has always received a lot of attention from consumers and the media. The reason why I wanted to conduct this report was to find out why the Nike brand was one the most recognised logos globally as well as why it has accomplish so much in so little time. By doing this study I wanted to find out how the Nike brand has an effect on consumers behaviour and had to do with brand marketing. I wanted to find out why Nike spent so much money on their brand advertisement and marketing. How did Nike get to the top of such a competitive market? What type of consumers is buying into the products? Not many people are aware that the company was originally called Blue Ribbon Sports in 15TH January 1964 by the founders William Jay Bowerman and Phillip H. Knight
